Mary L. Brantley Hudson of Frostproof passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Grace Health Care.

Mary was born October 26, 1928 in Jefferson County, Georgia to the late Sils and Mae Bell (McKenzie) Brantley and has been a lifelong resident Florida. She was a retired citrus grader for Ben Hill Griffin and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie B. Hudson; daughters, Pamela Heller and Cindy Hudson Desmore and a son, Michael “Spanky” Hudson.

Survivors include her sister, Carolyn Hunter of Texas; brother, Jack Brantley of Frostproof; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am, Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev.Kelly Galati officiating. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
